Ph.D. in Political Science from Institute of Social and Political Studies at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (IESP-UERJ). Currently she is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES), ISCTE-IUL (Lisbon University Institute) and Professor at the Rural Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRRJ). Since 2010, she is responsible for the Observatory of Portuguese-speaking countries (www.oplop.uff). Her fields of scientific interests include Political Theory, Latin American Politics and Comparative Politics. Previously, during three years she worked as assistant researcher in the Political Observatory of the South American Countries (www.opsa.com.br). She is the author several articles in brazilian journals as Revista de Estudos Internacionais, Revista Estudos Políticos and Revista OIKOS. She worked as a teacher at University Research Institute of Rio de Janeiro (IUPERJ-UCAM) with lectures on Regional integration; Theory of Democracy; International Relations of Latin America.
